BLOGGER RECOGNITION AWARD

On the 2nd of July last month, Kamakhya thenewleaf2016, nominated me for a blogger recognition award. I am sincerely so grateful Sir for nominating me and I apologize for only acknowledging it now. The past month was crowded I had little to no time to work on my blog, but thankfully, the past few days has been lenient on me. 

My favorite posts from The new leaf2016 blog are as follows

1. The Lady with a child  which I associate with my blog post Life from bin, there is still hope. It opens a persons eyes and mind to the similarities of poverty in our various societies and our role to play as individuals in the society, to help alleviate the issue of poverty. This post also emphasizes in depth, the fears and doubt that many of us may have towards giving, but in its resolution, we must never stop helping the poor or needy. It is what God expects of us.
2. Simplicity is a poem that vividly paints how humanity appalls true simplistic lives because it has already accepted a false created version of simplicity which is quite different from the one in the poem. I associate this poem to mine called What do you have? . Do check out His blog and links to these amazing posts.

In sum, Kamakhya is such an amazing writer 🙂 and I love his blog posts ❤

How my blog came about!

I started blogging because I wanted to call back peoples attention to the good lost virtues and values. I always asked; What progress can we show if the poor are left poor without kindness and generosity from individuals in the society? When young girls are taught to expose themselves for vain things like “Facebook, twitter or Instagram” Love and like buttons? When people take pride in being nude? When people abuse Fat people and Fat people Justify  how cute it is to be fat? When sick people are shoved shameful words and behaviors? When kids are so empowered to disrespect their parents or elders? The list goes on. My best posts and articles are yet to come, so do stay tuned <3.

I knew I wanted to post all these in an arena other than Facebook or Twitter. I needed something more solid but accommodating of other social networks; and blogging was it! Then again, I didn’t know how to go about starting a blog and therefore I asked a friend who was into the media stuff and he helped me out and showed me how to register for blogs, more so for WordPress blog. Here is Forgottenempathy  🙂 since late last year when I actually gave myself time to learn all the accessories and tips of this blogging site.

Advice to NEW BLOGGERS

First advise I would give to bloggers is that, If really you are into blogging, be passionate about each post you place on your blog. So that when you click on it many months or years along the line, you will still appreciate the blog just like many other people who will see it and appreciate it. The passion is very evident in the utilization of accessories the WordPress has to offer on your post and the words used to address each issue you blog about.

Second advice is, learn to read other peoples blogs and appreciate it even if you don’t totally agree with it. Share your own opinion of the post with integrity especially when it emphasizes values which may be in contradictions with the post. Show other people you read and recognize their blogs.
