HATE… EVIL!

She walked with her head held high
Saw no skies but I knew she reached for it
Humble enough to accord respect to all her path met
Passive enough to starve looters demanded attention

She was of a dark race, lighter version
Simplicity was her best friend
Smiled easily, her best attire
She pampered gently her curly crown 

They called her rude but I knew they were busy-bodies
They tried so hard to crack her mind so strong
Trashing her image was the next option they afforded, 
Cowards! What spineless bark

Why the hate?
Why the heart ache?
Why allow your words find comfort in darkness?

They gathered behind shadows, jealousy stricken
Women with similar stripes congregate
Gullible men and children join the crowd
Empowered enough to bite unjustly

Monday, women spat close to the ground she threaded
Tuesday, children made mockery of her
Wednesday, Men shoved her around and laughed about it
Thursday, they act as though they hurt more than they inflicted

Why the Hate?
Why the Heart ache?
Why allow your words find comfort in darkness?

Friday, they monitored her movements
Hid behind trees, gutters and cars
Her majestic presence they await
With strange fire in their eyes

Foul cry was their new strategy
Women, with long sticks
Men with flammables objects
Children held heavy stones

Why the Hate?
Why the Heart ache?
Why allow your words find comfort in darkness?    

Like bonded sheaves all around her
They bowed to release their slings
Heavy stones bruised her skin
Whoops would eventually form gallops

Mini furnace to force her out of existence
Her eyes blinded by blood, they tore her cloths
Unable to defend herself, With orange knives they shaved her crown 
About to toss her into flames

Why the Hate?

She bows to a king each morning, If only they knew 
And here He was in a white iron steal 
Rode through the sheaves
To save His own

He will nurse her back to health
Like a Phoenix she will rise
Stronger than she was at first
Hope she remains humble enough to dish out mercy
Just like her King had asked!

We must desist from hate and ill treating other people. Spreading lies and rumors that could eventually cause harm to people.
